A “Trace” is a concept derived from the French word “traceur”: a practitioner of Parkour, a movement discipline developed from military obstacle course training.
In the Traces that follow you will find longer and shorter courses with varying degrees of obstructional difficulty. The challenge is truly to find features to engage that you enjoy and then design your own individualized- and communicable- trace, one that is unique to and your locale. Remember, never run straight, mix it up! And jump over and crawl through as much as your body can muster.
Hereis wonderful representation of pure Parkour including the bloopers that are often edited out of most videos for the final version.
And GO!
These here are my haunts. Give ’em a go, or just make up your own.
*Not actually a picture of Ken McDonald Golf Course, but a very fine picture in it’s own right, wouldn’t you say? And an exuberant thank you to you, yes you! for getting all the way to the bottom of this dreadfully long page. Now click on something and get outta here, ya dummy! 😉
